(Head Office: Taipei City, Taiwan; CEO: Eric Lin; hereinafter “M&W”), the food and beverage group company of CMC Group, one of Taiwan’s largest pharmaceutical companies. The agreement, signed on Thursday, July 24, 2025, grants M&W exclusive rights to operate and develop “Chuka Soba Tomita” and “KEN’S CAFE TOKYO” within Taiwan.
Background and Purpose

On the other hand, M&W Co., as the food and beverage division of Taiwan’s major pharmaceutical company, the China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Group, operates a wide range of businesses in Taiwan. These include handling various proprietary and imported brand products, as well as managing restaurants within luxury hotels across the country. T-NEXT and M&W have determined that by sharing their respective brands, expertise, and resources, they can secure a significant market share in Taiwan’s ramen and sweets sectors. As a result, the two parties have entered into a master license agreement for “Chuka Soba Tomita” and “KEN’S CAFE TOKYO” within Taiwan.
T-NEXT will leverage the brand power of “Chuka Soba Tomita” and “KEN’S CAFE TOKYO,” along with M&W’s extensive network and expertise in the Taiwanese market, to establish these brands as top-tier names in Taiwan.
