T-NEXT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Group CEO: Noriaki Takahashi; hereinafter “T-NEXT”) has agreed to establish a joint venture (hereinafter “JV”) with Thirty Three Degree & Co., Limited (Headquarters: Hong Kong; Representative: Tong Ming Hong; hereinafter “TTD & C”), which operates Michelin-starred restaurants and engages in various food-related businesses in Hong Kong. The JV will launch a food content platform business in Hong Kong.
Through this JV, both companies aim to widely expand premium food content brands from Japan and around the world in Hong Kong.
Background and Purpose of Establishing the Joint Venture
As a food content platformer, T-NEXT is committed to spreading the wonders of food, aiming to deliver new excitement and happiness to people around the world. Since its founding, the company has acquired global licenses for top-tier food content brands, such as ramen, sweets, yakitori, wagyu beef, and curry, and has established partnerships with excellent companies around the world. T-NEXT and TTD & C have decided to establish a joint venture and launch a food content platform business in Hong Kong, leveraging their respective brands, expertise, and resources. This decision is based on the belief that by enhancing the brand power of food content in Hong Kong—a global hub for fine dining—they can expand their business footprint into Mainland China and neighboring countries, using Hong Kong as a strategic base.
