"Kaminari" ramen uses a generous amount of domestic pork back fat and bones. The soup is slowly simmered for 20 hours, combined with a special soy sauce, and finished with extra-thick curly noodles, making it a hearty and satisfying bowl. The flavor became widely talked about, leading the restaurant to become extremely popular.
In particular, the Tokyo Honmaru store located inside Tokyo Station is famous for its long lines of customers, with long lines of customers waiting until just before closing time. Many tourists visit the store due to its easy access.
“Kaminari” also sells made-to-order ramen. In 2021, it won the overall grand prize for “Order Ramen of the Year". Although it is a new business, it is a rapidly growing ramen shop that has been featured in many media outlets.

Tomita group representative Osamu Tomita
A disciple of Yamagishi Kazuo, the founder of Higashi Ikebukuro Taishoken, who is called the god of ramen. After training at an affiliated restaurant, he established his own restaurant, "Chinese Soba Tomita" in 2006, and won the top prize at numerous ramen events and rankings in Japan, transforming "Chinese Soba Tomita" into the top ramen shop with long queues. Additionally, he collaborated on product development with Michelin Guide-listed ramen shop "Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta" and one of Japan's leading ramen shops, "Ramen Iida Shoten." The story was adapted into a movie and screened in five countries worldwide, contributing significantly to the global expansion of ramen culture.
